2015 Fashion Trend Report

It’s the time of the Year! Christmas Parties, New Year’s Eve, Prom, Graduation… Now wait, before you even choose or buy that perfect dress on that special day, learn what’s in and what’s not this season and the next. Don’t make  that mistake of wearing a pouffy dress just because Drew Barrymore wore it in the movie “Never Been Kissed”, or grab a Carrie inspired slip dress for a chance to dance with that hot guy who treats you like a ghost; never mind Romy and Michelle’s metallic getup, though I find them shabby, a little modern touch would actually make them work.

So now I am sharing you some really amazing dresses that I only saw on this new online shopping site www.promtimes.co.uk. PromTimes is one of world’s leading online retailers, operating throughout the United States and Europe that virtually serve customers from every country in the world. Their trendy and classy collection would ultimately guide us in choosing the right dress that style icons and fashion editors predicted to be the greatest trends for fall 2014- 2015.
Read it first from here, The Vainyard’s 2015 Fashion Trend Report…

Vilislava Petrova, Head of Content APAC, WGSN APAC, a multinational fashion trend forecasting and research institution, pointed out that metallic colors will be one of the trends next year.

This is why Romy and Michelle’s reunion getup are not on the black list, you read it right, metallics are coming back. Personally, I find metallic colors very hard to pull off; many tried, and many failed. Yes, it could be frumpy, but you just have to find the right dress to make this trend work. Like who wouldn’t want to wear this style when you have a dress like this? I mean, c’mon, the elegance of the studs and the flowy vibes and the adorable cut, this is how a metallic dress should be!

Name it- Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam, Creatures of the Wind, Jason Wu, Altuzarra, Narciso Rodriguez, J. Mendel, Rosie Assoulin, and Prabal Gurung, they all fall for shimmery textures for their fall/ winter collection, and their choice of color? Emerald.
Like seriously, I have a huge crush on emerald this time, and a shimmery emerald dress couldn’t be more perfect for your prom night. Trust me, emerald is going to be a big hit  next year.
“Spring and pastels go together like April showers and May flowers… It’s not going to scream Hawaiaan, it’s going to be more sophisticated” – Jaclyn Jones, WGSN Senior Women’s Wear Editor
I guess you have to agree with me  that florals are one of the all time favorite trends, that’s why PromTimes made florals even more sophisticated with this pure chiffon dress intricated with such adorable floral sequence.

According to fur insiders, perhaps the new fascination with all things grey is expected given the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey.

I totally agree that gray brings a softer finish and chic casualness to most formal garments compared to black. It’s sleek and elegant, and with a classy sheer dress and a right amount of sparkle, you will totally stand out from all the fancy colors around.

During the Moschino Spring/ Summer 2015 show at the Milan Fashion Week  late this year, the runway was filled with real life barbie collection from Jeremy Scott. Needless to say, Jeremy Scott predicted that Barbie will reign next year and surely, she will be one of 2015’s top fashion icon.

So stay ahead of the game, dress pink from head to toe just like a real barbie with this train pink prom dress.
You can visit PromTimes as well and see for yourself their  amazing collection. Just in time for this holiday season, they have promo up to 75% off and free shipping option.
Do you have bold fashion forecast next year? If you ask me, I would say  lace will have it’s toll next year, mesh won’t be around by midyear, so wear it while  you can, and graphic prints will  be back summer of 2015. Well, let’s wait and see if I’m a good seer =)
