I always wanted to go to Vigan City and experience the splendor of the Spanish colonial architecture. But the thing I hate about going places is the travel itself. A four- hour flight or a six- hour land trip is my breaking point and you will certainly regret having me as your company beyond that curb. I guess by now you would know why I settled for Intramuros.
When I go to Manila, my routes usually include MOA, Makati and Divisoria so I thought Intramuros would be something new on my routine. Well, my last visit to Manila, we were stuck on the road for almost 3 hours from NAIA to Intramuros and before we even reached the place, heavy rain came to my disappointment. We had to pay our Uber twice to bring us to our hotel instead. Luckily the next day was bright as the sun and I was able to get these photos, otherwise I wouldn’t be talking about all these stuffs at all =)
Intramuros certainly did not fail me. The antiquity of the whole place is well preserved and the whole picture of it speaks nothing short of our rich history. I am glad I got to visit this place which I thought is just another landmark cliche in the city.
