Macao Imperial Tea is Now in Cebu

The newest to- go cafe in the city just opened its doors to Cebuanos yesterday with their handcrafted beverages and aesthetic interiors. Located at the Mountain Wing, Upper Ground Level of SM Seaside Cebu, Macao Imperial Tea is here to change your perception of casino-packed Macao with colorful and delicious drinks, cakes, pastries, and snacks.

Originally from the Venice of Asia, MIT (Macao Imperial Tea) has been drawing customers in Macau, Vietnam, China, United States, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines for years with more than 350 branches now.

The Place

MIT Cebu is conveniently located on top of the drop off level at the mountain wing of SM Seaside Cebu. The cafe is cozy and relaxed, it even has an alfresco if you want a breath of fresh air.

It has a huge mirror on the other side (which works to my advantage, lol!) and some really cute stuffs like fluffy pillows, human size stuffed bear and adorable table centerpiece.  Ample outlets are readily fixed for your charging needs, and of course, free wifi is available.

The Drinks

There are a lot of beverages you can choose from in MIT– milk teas, cookies and cream, iced sodas, coffee, Cream Cheese drinks and many others. Aside from their best selling cream cheese drinks, they also have a couple drink named “For You” and “For Me”; and they come in charming glass tumblers you can take home and reuse.

If you ask me, my favorite would be their cream cheese series. It is like an upgrade version of rock salt and cheese drinks but so much better. I am not a coffee person but I would certainly take on the couple drink as well (and I get to bring home the glass bottle, yepee!)

Their colorful rainbow sodas are also refreshing especially this summer, not to mention they’re very photogenic.

For those who are not very much into caffeine like me, you would surely find MIT your new place to hang out =)

You may also check their Facebook page for promos and latest updates.
